These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlanDXB mobile application and related services, currently operated for the PlanDXB beach-volleyball community in Dubai, UAE. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

"App" refers to the PlanDXB mobile application and associated backend services
"Player" refers to any registered user who participates in matches
"Admin" refers to a community organiser who can create and manage matches
"Match" refers to a scheduled volleyball session at a specific venue, court, date and time
"Penalty" refers to a late-cancellation or no-show fee recorded against a player's account in line with the community's cancellation policy

2. Eligibility & Registration

To use the app you must:

Be at least 16 years old and physically capable of safe participation in beach volleyball
Provide a valid UAE mobile number for SMS verification and complete the onboarding profile
Agree to the cancellation policy and community rules displayed during onboarding

3. Match Registration & Roster

Match registration is first-come, first-served:

Each match has a fixed capacity. Once the roster is full, new sign-ups are rejected until a spot opens
Registration closes automatically when the match starts
A player may register for the same match only once. Duplicate registrations are blocked server-side
Admins may add or remove players from a roster for legitimate operational reasons (e.g. to correct an error)

4. Cancellations & Penalties

PlanDXB enforces a clear cancellation policy on behalf of the community:

Cancelling more than the configured cancellation-window hours before the match start is free
Cancelling within the cancellation window records a late-cancel penalty on your account
Failing to show up to a confirmed match (no-show) records a no-show penalty
Outstanding penalties prevent registration for new matches until they are resolved (paid or waived by an admin)

5. Pricing & Payments

Prices shown next to a match are set by the community organiser and are paid in person at the venue. PlanDXB v1 does not collect or process payments in-app. Penalties are tracked in the app and settled directly with the organiser.

6. Conduct & Safety

By participating in matches you accept the following:

Beach volleyball involves physical activity; you participate at your own risk and should not play if injured or unwell
Respect other players, organisers, venue staff, and shared facilities at all times
Photographs and video may be taken at sessions for community use; you may opt out via your profile

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Create accounts with false identities, share your account, or impersonate another player
Attempt to bypass cancellation rules, manipulate the roster, or oversell the match capacity
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users or community organisers
Use the app for any unlawful purpose under UAE federal or emirate law

8. Limitation of Liability

PlanDXB acts only as a scheduling tool. We are not a party to the activity at the venue and are not responsible for injuries, lost property, or disputes between players. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to AED 100. PlanDXB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
